STANDARD SIZING

If you’re a bit unsure about sizing or have any questions, give us a shout! We’re more than happy to guide you to the perfect fit. Our standard size pieces are all set to ship out immediately (unless you’ve got a preorder, in which case, we’ll keep you updated).

In a nut shell we are proud to be able to offer exchanges and in-store credit exclusive of postage for your standard size mini (we don't offer standard size gowns). You can even use that in-store credit towards a made to order dress if there is time.

Exchanges & Credit Notes Made Simple

  • If you need to swap your mini or prefer an in-store credit, just let us know within 7 days of receiving it.

  • Once we approve your return, please make sure we receive the item within 14 days if you're in Australia or 21 days if you’re overseas.

Returning Your Mini

  • Your dress should be returned in its original condition—free from makeup, fragrance, tans, stains, or any signs of wear.

  • Make sure all tags are still attached, and please, no alterations or washing.

  • Return shipping costs and any additional expenses are the responsibility of the bride.

  • As a helpful tip for international brides; the box it came in will compress the dress and yeild the cheapest return for you.

Quality Check and Manufacturing Faults

Each piece is meticulously quality-checked and recorded before it reaches you. In the rare case of a manufacturing fault, let us know right away!

REFUNDS

Here’s How It Works

Due to the nature and usage of a wedding dress this is a real bummer to keep on top of, we can't really refund anyone unless there is a major manufacturing fault and a replacement or fix isn’t possible. That would pretty much just set us up for failure. If you want to just try the dress on and are not willing to work with an in-store credit on return; there might be better solutions out there for you then us. In saying that we do offer a bespoke service so your in-store credit can be super flexible and go beyond your bridal wardrobe. We welcome consciously considered purchases and are excited to be involved in your special day.

Major Faults and Refunds

  • Refunds are reserved for major manufacturing faults, determined by our Quality Control Manager after a thorough review. If a replacement or fix isn’t possible, a refund will be considered.

  • A fix constitutes a minor and fixable issue.

  • If there’s a manufacturing fault, we’ll cover the return postage. However, if you’ve exchanging/returning for in-store credit you’ll need to handle return postage and any additional purchase difference.

  • If you’re eligible for a refund, your item will go through our quality control upon receipt. We’ll compare it against our delivery records.

  • Refunds, exchanges, and in-store credit notes are only available after the item passes our quality control checks. If it doesn’t, we’ll reach out with your options.

  • If your item is not found by quality control to have a major manufacturing fault, we’ll return it to you without offering a replacement, repair, or exchange. Postage will be at purchasers expense.

ALTERATIONS

Alterations are part of the bridal journey. Whilst we aim to minimise these as much as possible by creating pieces to your exact proportions or by offering in some cases a cheaper and exchangeable standard size dress, alterations can still be necessary to achieve a specific desired fit.

If you have any fit concerns upon receiving your gown, please contact us and our team of alteration specialists will assess your unique concern, we will require images of you wearing the gown and your current measurements.

Your gown is made per the intended design and to your proportions and height. Alterations needed that pertain to the fitting process will be at brides expense.

You may wish to alter your gown to achieve your desired fit upon receiving; those associated costs will be at your expense so please factor this into your wedding dress budget. If you're making something bespoke and unique in concept (you did not try it on as one of our established styles in studio) the chance of it having perceivable differentiations in reality are going to be higher, you are liable for that pursuit of material perfection. If your measurements change from what was confirmed at your lock in date, you are liable for the alteration fees required. We are unable to offer in-house alterations, however we would love to offer advice, guidance, and alteration instructions, should you choose to consult a third-party seamstress.

We are not liable for any costs incurred or responsible for alterations completed by a third party.

ASTON Bridal do not take responsibility for any adjustments or alterations needed to be made on your gown.
